Erol Güler

Erol Güler was born in 1970 in Eskişehir. He was introduced to the art of meerschaum at an early age and grew up within a deeply rooted family tradition of craftsmanship. Surrounded by generations engaged in this craft, he developed his skills through the traditional master-apprentice system.

Between 1988 and 1991, he successfully completed a formal training program in meerschaum craftsmanship and earned the title of certified master instructor. After his military service, he dedicated himself entirely to the art of meerschaum, continuing his professional journey and gaining extensive experience over the years. He also holds a half-century craftsmanship certificate and has been recognized as a state artist by the Ministry of Culture.

Throughout his career, Erol Güler has trained many students and continues to contribute to the preservation and transmission of meerschaum craftsmanship to future generations. This craft remains a lasting tradition within his family, passed down across generations.
